  Key Role: Serve as a mission commitment engineer for Goddard Space Flight Center’s (GSFC) Ground and Space Networks. Work hand in hand with new and existing satellite customers to coordinate communications services requirements for and integrate the mission into the Ground Network (GN) or Space Network (SN). Work with the mission customers and NASA to understand, develop, and document communications requirements. Maintain responsibility for developing schedules for the integration of new customers into the networks and for performing requirements analyses. Provide support testing and integration of new customers and troubleshooting with existing customers. This position is located in Ft. Meade, Maryland (MD).

Requirements

  Basic Qualifications: -3+ years of experience with aerospace or another engineering field -Ability to obtain a security clearance -BS degree in Aerospace or Engineering    Additional Qualifications: -Ability to work in a close team environment -Experience with satellite communication preferred -Experience with satellite or RF systems a plus -Experience with GSFC’s SN or GN a plus-Possession of excellent data gathering and organizational skills -Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills -Possession of excellent organizational and analytical skills Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.   Integrating the full range of consulting capabilities, Booz Allen is the one firm that helps clients solve their toughest problems, working by their side to help them achieve their missions.
